This recipe was given me years ago by our neighbor, Mrs. Simpson, who was an incredible cook. It is one of the most chocolate spattered pages in my hand written cook book. I often make it when I buy a new container of sour cream, and the old one can be used up to make space in the refrigerator. It makes a generous 9x13 inch pan, or you can bake it in a bundt pan for a different look.
