Sandra’s Carmel Crunch
Pop 6-8 quarts popcorn (24 or more cups)
1 c butter
2 c brown sugar
½ c corn syrup……………………Boil, stir for 5 minutes
1 tsp salt……………………………add
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla……………………..Stir in. Mixture will foam profusely. Quickly stir
and pour over the popcorn
You can eat it just like this, but if you bake it at 250 F for one hour, stirring frequently, it will be very nicely non-sticky and easy to serve.
