Butterscotch Sauce

Norah’s Butterscotch Sauce

1 ½ c sugar

2 Tbsp corn syrup

¾ buttermilk or plain yogurt

1 tsp baking soda

½ c butter

Boil 7 minutes, remove from heat, add 2 t vanilla

This is incredible on waffles, pancakes, ice cream, chocolate cake and so on.  Keep it in the fridge.
