Charcuterie

Well you've never seen it all. We were at a wedding and became acquainted with what they called a charcuterie board. Wow. I mean, wow.

The MC said it best.
"Ive never eaten a work of art before."

Music Memories

My oldest daughter told me she is practicing piano again. It took me back many years.
Fur Elise. The Swan. The Homecoming. Those songs always remind me of warm spring days, early spring, before the grass is fully green, but the wind is wonderfully warm. I have the door at the farm open, and great gusts of balmy wind breeze through the house. I am baking something in the kitchen, and someone is practicing on the piano in the living room. Over and over the stanzas happen, a little farther, and a little better every time. The sweet notes of the songs mingle with the other senses, and it produces a feeling that all is well and as it should be. I do love those songs.
