Barrhead Greènhouse

So DH and I made a little excursion out to the greenhouse in Barrhead. It has moved onto main drag into town. Much easier to locate. The staff is disarmingly helpful and the flowers beautiful. I find it strange that the only annuals that are of any size in the blossom are petunias, geraniums, begonias, and dahlia. Everything else is tall and wispy or short, 6 inches or less. Not too much of a display for curb appeal.
We are still agonizing over the petunia/begonia/geranium selection for the flowerbed under the bedroom windows. Dahlias, at $10.49 per pot are out of the question. But we have red, purple and white petunias to complement the rudbeckia under the living room window.
