This is a neat thing to do. If you have heavier wire you might need pliers to pull it around. Just make sure you use a screwdriver with no "shoulders" such as a flat one might have. Star or square work better. And start wrapping from the bottom, ending with the cut end.
There are many recipes, patterns, and a multitude of other things to make our homes cosy and welcoming. This is my cosy corner of good things to eat and other "creature comforts"; things just to make our families, and ourselves, feel good.
