Chocolate Pudding
¾ c sugar
¼ c flour
¼ t salt
¼ c cocoa Blend
Whisk in
3 c hot milk
Cook, stirring to the bottom of the pot CONSTANTLY until it begins to boil in large thick lava-like bubbles. It will burn, this is a threat, if you do not stay with it and stir every second, but it is worth the trouble as it is very very good.
Take off heat and add
1tsp vanilla
Cool
This is a wonderful comfort food; people who are working outside in the cold and wet do enjoy coming in to a bowl of warm or barely warm pudding.l
Recipe obtained from a friend who raised five children in a tiny house on a small budget. Thanks, Jan.
