Oh the excitement. The hyperventilating. The sheer delirious joy of it. It is true. Little things make us very happy. This morning after dishes I snuck a peek under the sink where a little ziploc baggie containing little black specks on a soggy paper towel resides. The same as I have checked that bag every day, sometimes two or three times, for the last month. And this morning there were one, two, three little white roots peeping through. The spider plant seeds produced by my varigated plant have germinated.
Now they are planted in a little pot with a glass over it for humidity at their tender beginning of life.
