ladybug

It's amazing how a little colour improves things. If this little creature was black I just know I could hardly bring myself to pick it up. But I have no issue with extending a helpful finger to the wildly flailing feet of an overturned ladybug.

Music Memories

My oldest daughter told me she is practicing piano again. It took me back many years.
Fur Elise. The Swan. The Homecoming. Those songs always remind me of warm spring days, early spring, before the grass is fully green, but the wind is wonderfully warm. I have the door at the farm open, and great gusts of balmy wind breeze through the house. I am baking something in the kitchen, and someone is practicing on the piano in the living room. Over and over the stanzas happen, a little farther, and a little better every time. The sweet notes of the songs mingle with the other senses, and it produces a feeling that all is well and as it should be. I do love those songs.
