Mickey Mouse

A pancake lunch with children is not complete without mickey mouse pancakes. I have learned to use a soup spoon to ladle the batter for these. Much better control over spatters. My youngest grandchild came today and when I handed her one cooled specially for her she took it , carefully folded it in half and solemnly took a bite out of both ears at once.  She is seven months old and with her one little tooth  managed to dispense of several pancakes. I sense approval there.
My nephew remembers his mother making dinosaur pancakes. If they became a bit misshapen in the pouring oh well. Who knows but there may have been a dinosaur that shape. A wise woman.
