I am reposting this recipe, but with a picture, as it is lemonade season again. It is the easiest to remember as 1/1/8. That is, one portion sugar, one portion lemon juice, and eight portions water. So if you use a quarter cup measuring cup as your portion, you will have enough for you and a friend. If you use a small bowl to measure your portions you may be looking for a food grade five gallon pail to mix it in. Add ice and enjoy.

I love this. This is how I make lemondade as well and it is fantastic! I use the bottled lemon juice to make it easy :)
