These berries hang on trees in our neighbors yard and over our fence. Growing up, we had several bushes of them in the wild, and every late summer we would pick them. The pectin content is high, and if they are boiled awhile when half green, or like pictured, with equal parts raspberries and sugar the jelly sets up quite nicely without using commercial pectin. It will set up on its own too, but the taste isn't to everyones' liking.
